Two Atlanta Technical College students awarded rotary scholarships
May 16, 2013 – Atlanta, GA - Today, the Rotary Club of Atlanta West End presented two Atlanta Technical College (ATC) students with 2013 Vocational Education Scholarships. Pharmacy technology major Benita Stewart and dental hygiene student Andrea Keleman, each received $500 to help cover college expenses.

In addition to the scholarships, the Rotary Club of Atlanta West End donated $162 to the ATC Adult Education Department to defray the cost of GED testing for a student currently enrolled in GED preparation classes.
The Rotary Club of Atlanta has been a long-time supporter of Atlanta Technical College. Rotarians serve as judges for the school’s annual Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership competition and serve as community advocates for technical education. Earlier this year, the club arranged for Robbie Howard, Atlanta Technical College pharmacy technology program chair, to participate in the four-week Group Study Exchange trip to Taiwan to observe Asian educational, healthcare, and workforce development systems.
