CURLY M. DOSSMAN, JR.
Curly is native Louisianan who left the Cajun country to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he received a BA degree in 1973. While attending Morehouse, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, received the Robert Brisbane Outstanding Award for Students of Political Science, served as President of the Morehouse Student Government Association and was a member of the College Board of Trustees.
After graduating from Morehouse, he attended Washington University School of Law and earned a JD degree in 1976. While there, he served as President of the Association of Black Students.
Curley is an elected member of the National Board of Directors and Executive Committee of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Curley is also a Vice-Chair of Development. Curley is past-president of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc., and organization committed to mentoring and paying college tuition for inner city students. The successful Phase I of the program involved 35 students at an estimated cost of $1.5 million. Currently Phase II involves 115 students at an estimate cost of $4million. At the end of his tenure as President, he completed a successful $2 million endowment for Phase II.
Curley is an active member of Morehouse College Alumni Association where is co-chair of the National Alumni portion of the school’s $105M campaign for a New Century. He also served as past-chair of Friends of Morehouse College (1990-98) and in 1992 was selected “Man of the Year” by the Atlanta Morehouse Chapter. In 1990, the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education awarded Curley the “Presidential Citation” in recognition of exemplary experiences that honor his Alma Mater.
Curley’s wife Jennifer is an Honors Graduate of Spelman College. They have an 18-year old son, Jonathan who is attending Morehouse College.
Donna was born in New Mexico and raised in Florida. After Working in the space program at Cape Caneveral, she moved to Atlanta attracted by the region’s booming growth and natural beauty.
Her career has been varied and interesting. She worked for ABC Records, the Loveable Bra Company and for The Friendship Force, a cultural exchange program supported by President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter. She left the Friendship Force to work in her husband’s law practice, quickly hired a secretary to take her place, and opened her own travel agency, Premiere Tours. Finding the travel business a bit confining, Donna became a real estate investor and restorer in 1992.
Donna is blessed to be married to a very supportive husband, Neal, and to have a wonderful daughter, Laura. Laura has completed her master’s degree and is currently a Life Care Planner for injured children and adults.

EVERN COOPER EPPS
Evern Cooper Epps is responsible for the global philanthropic programs of the UPS Foundation, as well as the many corporate relations and community service initiatives of UPS. Under her direction, The UPS Foundation has expanded its support of the program in the crucial areas of literacy, hunger relief, and nationwide volunteerism.
Committed to her vision for building stronger communities through effective collaborations, Epps identifies and supports organizations and programs with which The UPS foundation can establish partnerships for positive and lasting impact on the disenfranchised, under-served and under-represented.
A native of Detroit, Mich., Epps has held positions in strategic planning, delivery information, training, and business development. Prior to joining UPS, she was a high school educator.
Epps shares her energy and ideas through affiliations with numerous professional organizations, both locally and nationally. She is an inductee in the YWCA of greater Atlanta’s Academy of Women Achievers; Chair of Women Looking Ahead and member of the “Kist of Georgia’s 100 Most Powerful and Influential Women in Corporate America” and was named one of Business To Business Magazine’s 2004 Divas. She is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Georgia Girl Scouts Council; a member of the Board of Advisors of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies; and the past Chair of the Board of Corporate Advisors of United Way of America.
Additionally, Epps is a member of the Board of Close Up Foundation; member of the Board of the Points of Light Foundation; Chair of the Board of Atlanta Partners for Education; member of the Board of Zoo Atlanta; member of the International Advisory Board for the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College; and a member of Links-Dogwood Chapter.
JOHN GRANT JR.
John Thomas Grant, Jr. became Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc., on November 15, 2001. He has been called “The Ultimate Rainmaker” by his colleagues within the Atlanta chapter, for his ability to obtain corporate sponsors and successfully manage their investments in the organization. Under his leadership, “The 100” has attained a level of visibility and prominence that underscores the mission established by its founding members in 1986.
That mission is to provide support and improve the quality of life For African Americans, youth in particular, in the Atlanta community. As the second largest of 95 chapters worldwide, “The 100” has a membership of over 240 of Atlanta’s leading businessmen, educators, lawyers, physicians, bankers, politicians, and professional athletes.
Mr. Grant has an enviable history of professional success and leadership. He joined Airborne Express in 1979. Two years later he was promoted to Area Operations Manager in Greenville. S.C. with responsibility for the total operations of the facility. While there, he was active as a leader in the Chamber of Commerce. In 1984 he was relocated to Atlanta where he served in several areas including leading the Customer Service and Sales organizations. He quickly rose to become District Sales Manager.
His personal achievements led to numerous company awards including several Regional Sales Awards for highest growth ranking among his peers, Lead Dog Award, Sky Courier District Sales Manager of the Year, and the company’s first and only Humanitarian Award in 1997.
In 1988, he became the youngest member to join the 100 Black Men of Atlanta at the age of 30. He was voted Man of the Year in 1989 and elected as Secretary of the Board of Directors in 1990. He served as an elected member of the Board until his selection as Executive Director. Mr. Grant also served as Chairman of the Georgia Power Atlanta Football Classic 1999-2001. Under his leadership the event has set record attendance levels ear year.
REVEREND DR. WALTER L. KIMBROUGH
For more than 38 years Reverend Walter L. Kimbrough’s ministry has been characterized by preaching, evangelism, pastoral care, teaching and community service. He has provided leadership at all levels of the United Methodist Church in both Northern Illinois and North Georgia. After having successfully led Chicago congregations through racial transition, in 1974 he was appointed to the Cascade Church of Atlanta where his expertise was needed. He moved Cascade from a dying congregation of less than 100 members to a vibrant one, relocated in a $5.2 million edifice, with more than 6000 members.
Dr. Kimbrough is a member of the United Methodist Publishing Board. He has served as a delegate to three World Methodist Conferences, four General Conferences, and seven Jurisdictional Conferences.
Dr. Kimbrough serves on the Board of Directors for both MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) and Emory University. He has served on the Board of Directors of United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, the Board of the American Red Cross (Atlanta Chapter), and the Trustee Board of Reinhart College. For three years he chaired the Church Committee of the United Negro College Fund Telethon, and was appointed by the governor to the state Housing Trust Fund for the Homeless Commission. Additionally, he is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Kimbrough is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, some of which include two Denman Awards for Excellence in Evangelism and three Honorary Doctorate degrees. Additionally, he was on of the Community Heroes whose face appeared on Coca Cola Centennial Olympic Wall.
Dr. Kimbrough is a native Atlantan having received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Morris Brown College and his Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational theological Center. Both of these institutions, along with Clark Atlanta University have honored him with doctorate degrees. His address, “Reclaiming Our Mission not the City,” appears in the book, The World Forever Our Parish, and he is the author of the book, Nothing is Impossible. He was a contributor to the books, 365 Meditations for Men and 365 Meditations for Families.
He is married to Marjorie L. Kimbrough, author and educator, and they are the parents of two young adult sons, Walter and Wayne.
Ray M. Robinson, a native of Dallas, Texas, is president of Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club, home of THE TOUR Championship, and chairman of the East Lake Community Foundation. The Foundation is responsible for the $120 million redevelopment of the East Lake neighborhood, which transformed on of the nation’s most troubled public housing projects into an award-winning model of a thriving mixed-income community.
Robinson is in charge of the strategic direction of the East Lake Golf Club and the East Lake Community Foundation to ensure the continued success of the community’s redevelopment and to inspire other communities to revitalize their inner city neighborhoods. Net proceeds from the operations of the East Lake Golf Club as well as THE TOUR Championship – the grand finale of the PGA Tour year – are funneled back into the East Lake community programs aimed at helping low-income families succeed.
Before joining East Lake, Robinson’s 35-year career with AT&T included positions in a variety of divisions including finance, marketing, sales, operations, corporate and regulatory affairs, maintenance and engineering. He joined AT&T in 1968 as a communication technician installing longs distance circuits. By the time he retired in 2003, Robinson had held such positions as president of AT&T’s Southern Region, the largest of AT&T’s five regions representing about $5 billion in revenue and 42,000 AT&T employees; president and CEO of AT&T Tridom, and AT&T subsidiary; vice president of operations for AT&T Business Customer Care; service vice president of AT&T Outbound Services; vice president of access for the Southern/Southwestern Regions; and vice president of AT&T Public Relations.
He is a trustee of Spelman College, Meharry Medical College and the University of Denver Alumni Association. He also is a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, the NAACP, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and the National Black MBA Association.
Robinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Denver.
Robinson is married and has two adult children and one granddaughter.
