The Commercial Wiring Technical Certificate of Credit provides instruction to enhance students' knowledge and skills necessary to perform wiring functions in a commercial setting. Topics include safety practices, blueprint & schematic reading and interpretation along with wiring procedures and practices.

- Must be 16 years of age
- Completion of high school or GED and submission of official transcript required to apply
- Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, English, and Math
- Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be determined by the registrar
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
This course introduces commercial wiring practices and procedures. Topics include: industrial safety procedures, the National Electrical Code, Principles of Grounding and Bonding, Commercial Services, three-phase power systems, and Electric Motor Fundamentals.
This course is a continuation of the study in commercial wiring practices and procedures. Topics include: conduit installation and system design concepts.
