Things heat up as Chef Shayne Vaughn of the Loews Atlanta Hotel shares his recipe for success with students
Renowned chef, Shayne Vaughn of the Loews Atlanta Hotel, took time from his busy schedule to share the secrets of his success with at Atlanta Technical College students. On Thursday, August 2, close to thirty culinary and hospitality students packed the first floor seminar room to hear of Vaughn’s journey to Chef de Cuisine at the Restaurant eleven at Loews Atlanta Hotel.
Vaugh attended the College of Tourism and Hospitality in South Brisbane, Australia and Marcellin College in Brisbane, Australia. His culinary career expands more than 20 years and he has worked with master chefs in both Australia and the United States. Vaughn has served as Estate Chef for Managerat Private Estate, Executive Chef for Alys Beach Resortat, and Execuitve Chefat Criollas Restaurant and Catering. He joined Loews Atlanta Hotel in January 2012.
