Atlanta Tech to host supply chain information sessions at the Riverdale Center

An estimated $19 Billion was generated by Georgia companies in the supply chain industry last year.  Attendees will learn about the training needed to enter the field.

Atlanta Technical College and advisory board members from UPS, Saddle Creek, Home Depot, Schneider National, Super Service LLC and CH Robinson will conduct free information sessions at the Riverdale Center, 7200 Church Street, Riverdale, Georgia on February 17 and 18 from 11 am – 2pm.  Industry professionals will provide insight into the career options that are available to students who enroll in the Atlanta Technical College supply chain management programs.

Last year and estimated $19 Billion was generated by Georgia companies in the supply chain industry. Attendees will hear about training options that take as little as seven weeks, as well as associate degree programs that can be completed in as few as five semesters. Programs that will be introduced include certified warehousing & distribution, commercial truck driving, procurement, logistics and forklift operation.
