Atlanta Technical College To Celebrate Area high School Couselors In Honor Of National School Counseling Week
Atlanta, GA – February 8, 2011 – Atlanta Technical College will observe National School Counseling Week by host a luncheon for high school counselors in its service area on Wednesday, February 9 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Representatives from the college will discuss dual enrollment programs, scholarships, campus expansion projects and new program offerings available to students. Counselors will also be briefed on the status of the college’s conversion from the quarter system to a semester calendar. Following the luncheon, counselors will be treated to a tour of the new Brenda Watts Jones Allied Health and Technology Complex, a $14.8 million facility that is slated to house dental hygiene, nursing, physical therapy, surgical technician, and occupational therapy programs.
