Atlanta Technical College’s Department of Economic Development’s mission is to provide quality training programs to serve the needs of individuals and to promote economic development to business and industry.

To accomplish this mission, the College provides personal, professional and occupational training and related services to individuals, businesses, agencies and industries. Program areas include Customized Contract Training, Quick Start, Georgia’s Retraining Tax Credit and Certified Specialist Programs. All training can be tailored to meet the particular needs of you, the customer, and the Certificate Programs qualify for HOPE funding.

Our services also provide resources for business, industry, government, and professional groups desiring to supplement their in-house training and workforce development initiatives. The Programs offered through this Department are fully coordinated with you, the business customer, and flexible to accommodate shift schedules and location. Most programs can be offered at the your business location, and convenient to the workforce involved in the training.
