The New Connections-to-Work Program at Atlanta Technical College
Provides training, supportive services, and job placement assistance
to single parents, displaced homemakers, single pregnant women, non-custodial
parents, and TANF recipients (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families)
in Fulton County and Atlanta, Georgia. The goal of the program is
to provide training that will assist citizens in our service area
to move from welfare dependency to self-sufficiency through gainful
employment opportunities.
Interested applicants should first contact your Fulton County DFACS Case Manager
to determine eligibility for assistance through this program. Once this has been
done, you should bring a copy of your work plan, Form 1199, and other pertinent
information to the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning.
