Atlanta Technical College provides a comprehensive holistic approach to General Education Diploma training to clients of the Fulton County Department of Family and Children’s Services, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. The program consists of several components in addition to GED training to assist the family with basic skills such as: Life skills, Parenting skills, Financial management, Anger management, Creative and Critical thinking, Problem solving skills, Job readiness, On-the-job skills training, Job search and Job placement services.
This program works to benefit TANF clients by providing them with the knowledge and skills to earn their GED diploma which is essential to promoting self-sufficiency and stability.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO TANF CLIENTS THAT HAVE BEEN REFERRED TO ATLANTA TECH BY FULTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND CHILDREN SERVICES.
