EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - TCC
This program covers the both U.S. Department of Transportation 1985 Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate Curriculum and the 1994 Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Curriculum. The EMT-Intermediate Program is designed to provide additional training and increased knowledge and skills in specific aspects of advanced life support above the basic level. Successful completion of the program allows the graduate to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians EMT-Intermediate/85 certification examination and receive Georgia licensure as an EMT-Intermediate. Upon completion of EMS 1115, students would be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs EMT-Basic Exam.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 18 years of age
* Completion of high school diploma or GED and submission of
official transcript required to apply
* Achievement of minimum program admission
scores in Reading, English, and Math
* Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be
determined by the registrar.
* Student must pass an NCIC background check.
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
