PHARMACY TECHNOLOGY - DIPLOMA

The Pharmacy Technology program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the pharmacy field. Educational opportunities will be provided that will enable the student to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed as a Pharmacy Technician. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

* Must be 18 years of age
*Can not be convicted of a felony that occurred within the last five (5) years, and/or any conviction that was drug or pharmacy related.
*Official high school or GED transcript is required to apply.
*Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, Language, and Math.
*Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be determined by the registrar.

Student Performance/Graduation Requirements:

*Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
*Must complete MAT 1111 with a minimum letter grade of B.
*Must complete PHR 100 with a minimum letter grade of B.
