INFANT AND TODDLER CHILD CARE SPECIALIST - Technical Certificate
This technical certificate of credit program is designed to provide the solid theory,
methods, and practice instruction desirable for caregivers who work with children from
birth to three years of age in a variety of care settings; to upgrade the quality of
care in the center and home based programs; to increase training opportunities for
infant and toddler teachers and family child care providers; and to educate caregivers
not currently enrolled in formal certificate, diploma, or degree programs.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 16 years of age
* Completion of high school diploma or GED and submission of
official transcript required to apply
* Achievement of minimum program admission
scores in Reading, English, and Math
* Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be
determined by the registrar.
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
