Atlanta, GA — April 20, 2026 — Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Google that will provide students, faculty, and the broader Fulton County community with no-cost access to Google’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) training and Google Career Certificates. This collaboration positions ATC as a key regional hub for AI education and workforce development, ensuring residents gain the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven economy.
Through Google’s AI for Education Accelerator, ATC will join a national network of more than 300 colleges and universities committed to expanding AI literacy and career readiness. The Accelerator offers free AI training for students, faculty, and staff, along with best-practice sharing and access to Google’s industry-recognized Career Certificates.
“All accredited nonprofit colleges and universities in the U.S. are invited to apply, and we are excited that Atlanta Technical College is taking this important step,” said Andrew Fede of Google’s education partnerships team. “This initiative ensures that every college student in America has the opportunity to build AI skills at no cost.”
Dr. Victoria Seals, President of Atlanta Technical College, expressed gratitude for the partnership and the community leaders who helped make it possible. “We are deeply appreciative of Chairman Robb Pitts and our partners at Google for helping bring this critical resource to the citizens of Fulton County,” said Dr. Seals. “AI is reshaping every industry, and this collaboration ensures our students and community members are not just prepared for the future; they are leading it.”
As part of the partnership, ATC will begin connecting students and community members to Google’s AI certificates and training pathways in the coming months. These programs are designed to equip learners with practical, job-ready skills in areas such as AI tools, data analysis, cybersecurity, IT support, and more.
